(Doc ID 2757012.1)
Last updated on MARCH 23, 2021
Applies to:
MySQL Enterprise Monitor - Version 4.0 and laterMicrosoft Windows x64 (64-bit)
Symptoms
An "Duplicate Host Identity" alert is received for a number of servers with the same SID values, but the SID value is not duplicated across multiple servers. The SID value can also not be present anywhere in your network.
Alert description should be followed.
Check that you are not monitoring more than one host instance with the following identity: sid:{<SID string>}. This can be caused by host or virtual machine cloning. Stop the agents on the affected systems. Remove and re-generate the SSH host keys or Windows Domain SIDs on these systems and then restart the agents.
