'OCRCONFIG -SHOWBACKUP' Command Does Not Show The Name Of The OCR Backup (Doc ID 275919.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 04, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition - Version: 10.0 to 10.0
This problem can occur on any platform.

When executing the 'ocrconfig -showbackup' command the actual name of the backup is not shown on the output :

example :

$ ocrconfig -showbackup 2004/06/02 05:31:35 /u01/app/oracle/crs/10.1/cdata/crs_rac 2004/06/02 01:31:34 /u01/app/oracle/crs/10.1/cdata/crs_rac 2004/06/01 21:31:32 /u01/app/oracle/crs/10.1/cdata/crs_rac 2004/06/01 01:43:35 /u01/app/oracle/crs/10.1/cdata/crs_rac 2004/05/19 00:31:57 /u01/app/oracle/crs/10.1/cdata/crs_rac
The output does not list the OCR backup file names.

The previous output makes you think that the output has been truncated because of some terminal settings, but no matter what settings you have the name of the OCR backup files is not shown.
