19c ODBC Driver Cause Memory Leak When Connecting to 19c DB (Doc ID 2765825.1)

Microsoft Windows (32-bit)

Symptoms

After upgrading both client and database to 19c, a memory leak is observed on an ODBC application which repeatedly connects and disconnects from the database.
DebugDiag can report the following function can cause a memory leak of 1.33 MBytes by 1001 allocations in 1000 loop for connecting and disconnecting.


An OCI application doesn't show a memory leak.

This problem occurs on Windows platform only, not on Linux platform.


Changes

After upgrading both client and database to 19c on Windows Platform.
