Symptoms


After shutdown one of the RAC instance, many sessions are waiting for 'enq: KI - contention'.
The systemstate dump trace output will show the following or similar hangchain having the final blocker is CKPT process:

--Systemstate dump trace on the node where "enq: KI - contention" occurred
