Information in this document applies to any platform.
ODBC connection times out with error:
Possible changes that may cause the error to show up:
- Change in ODBC driver
- Changes to the MySQL server setting max_execution_time server setting <> 0
- Upgrade to 5.7+ with MySQL server setting max_execution_time <>0
- Long running query: new query or an older query that had to work with larger amounts of data
