Symptoms

 

$GRID_HOME/cfgtoollogs/crsconfig/rootcrs_hostname. log

rootupgrade.sh has failed in first node with below reported errors :


CRS-2672: Attempting to start 'ora.asm' on 'nodename'
CRS-5017: The resource action "ora.asm start" encountered the following error:
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters
LRM-00101: unknown parameter name '_exafusion_enabled'
. For details refer to "(:CLSN00107:)" in "/u01/app/oracle/diag/crs/nodename/crs/trace/ohasd_oraagent_dbname.trc".
CRS-2674: Start of 'ora.asm' on 'nodename' failed

Changes

 _exafusion_enabled exists in the asm pfile
