Symptoms

Documents that are viewable from the Microsoft Office 2013/2016/2019/365 application or from a PDF reader fail to index with the error:

DRG-11207: user filter command exited with status x


This may also generate core dump files under the $ORACLE_HOME/dbs directory, with timestamps corresponding to the occurrences of the DRG-11207 errors:
