How to stop the logminer process in the snapshot standby database? (Doc ID 2797894.1)

Goal

When a physical standby is converted to snapshot standby database, it is reporting an active session with wait event "LogMiner preparer: memory".  This is causing a slowness of the snapshot standby while testing.
The AWR report shows event "LogMiner preparer: memory" in the top events.
