When attempting to create a Virtual Private Database (VPD) policy including INSERT and/or UPDATE statements, and setting the update check as FALSE in the DBMS_RLS.ADD_POLICY procedure, no error is obtained, the policy is successfully created and then queried in the DBA_POLICIES view:

However and according to this documentation, this action should not be possible, as when specifying INSERT and UPDATE statements for a policy to be created, the UPDATE_CHECK parameter must be set to TRUE, else, error ORA-28104 will be raised. What happened here?
