ORA-2836 / wallet is not open from remote connection when Database is re-started (Doc ID 2805259.1)

Symptoms

* Alert log is displaying  ORA-28365 error for remote connections when  Database is bounced  through a third party application.

* At the moment of check the Wallet status from a remote connection using SYSDBA privilege, the wallet status is NOT_AVAILABLE.

* If the wallet status is validated using a LOCAL connection on the DB server, the wallet status is OPEN.

*When the wallet status is validated using a LOCAL connection after the  DB bounce,  remote connections start working without any issue.

 

Changes

 DB bounce performed by a third party  tool.
