Symptoms
After successfully completing a PDB point in time recovery (PITR) until T1 and the current time is C1, RMAN will fail with ORA-39889 trying to run another PITR to a different timestamp T2 <C1.
This occurs when T1<T2<C1.
Note, RMAN is able to run PITR to any time > C1.
After the initial PITR to T1, RMAN will only be able to perform another PITR to a time beyond current time, C1.
