Materialized View Causing ORA-01740 (Doc ID 2823088.1)

Symptoms

When updating one of the two tables that the materialized view uses. The application receives the following error:
ORA-01740: missing double quote in identifier

weblogic.transaction.RollbackException: (OracleDS_DWS_DWS, XAException.XA_HEURHAZ HeuristicHazard, (javax.transaction.xa.XAException: ORA-12008: error in materialized view or zonemap refresh path
