ORA-17502 and ORA-15041 while adding datafile in ASM on Standby when standby_file_managment was left to manual (Doc ID 2823433.1)

On Standby the parameter STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT was set to MANUAL and we saw below in the standby's alert log:

 

bytes value is taken from primary's bytes column in v$datafile for same file# 3769

There was  enough free space in the disk group when checked in v$asm_diskgroup

Changes

 None. By mistake the parameter standby_file_management was left to Manual.
