Goal
The first goal of this note is to explain how to setup Orion configuration on an Exadata db node in order to run an IO test on cell grid disks. Read carefully the Orion Documentation before using this note. A NON READ ONLY RUN CAUSES DATA LOSS. DO NOT EXECUTE A NON READ ONLY RUN ON ANY KIND OF SYSTEM (PRODUCTION / PRE-PRODUCTION / TEST / etc) POPULATED WITH DATA. Mind also that a READ ONLY RUN might cause performance degradation to the other applications. DO NOT USE A READ ONLY run while other business critical applications are running.
