Symptoms

SVRMGR> startup nomount pfile=initperpftrn_434.ora

ORA-00101: invalid specification for system parameter MTS_DISPATCHERS
ORA-00102: network protocol (ADDRESS=(PARTIAL=YES)(PROTOCOL=TCP))

$ cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin
$ adapters oracle

gives:

Net Protocol Adapters linked with oracle are:

BEQ
IPC
RAW

Relinking does NOT help.
$cd $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib
$make -f ins_rdbms.mk install
