Symptoms
A Data Pump import using the VIEWS_AS_TABLES and NETWORK_LINK parameter fails with the following errors:
This fails only during data import. Importing with content=metadata_only works fine.
The issue gets reproduced when target database is 12.1 or 12.2, but it does not reproduce on 18c or higher.
