Symptoms
Following error report after add new nfs disk to a diskgroup and then starting database
alert_<SID2>.log inside <ORACLE_BASE>/diag/rdbms/<DB_NAME>/<SID2>/trace location:
The problem occurs when the following combination of settings is in place for the stack:
ASM instance - using NFS for ASM disks, does not have directIO set on filesystemio_options or does not have dnfs on for the home
Database instance - has dnfs enabled or nfs storage + directIO not specified.
