Goal

Customer environment having Data Guard with physical standby . Converted into snapshot standby. To retain the transactions happened on Snapshot standby they want to convert snapshot standby into PRODUCTION.

To do so, if they convert Snapshot standby into Physical standby it follows the flashback and all the snapshot standby transactions are lost. The requirement is to convert snapshot standby directly into PRODUCTION.

Both forceful and graceful Failover cannot be done on snapshot standby.
