During the StartHadoopServices step of Mammoth migration or other Mammoth action Cloudera Manager (CM) experiences long JVM pauses and Cloudera Manager response time becomes extremely slow.
The result is that restarting the services in CM starts taking excessive time and actions begin to timeout at random.
For details see the Cloudera KB, ERROR: "Detected pause in JVM or host machine" in Cloudera Manager WebUI.
