SDO_GEOM_METADATA Of Schema Not Removed When Dropping User Schema Oracle 19c (Doc ID 2861587.1)

Symptoms

When DROPping a schema in Oracle 19c, Spatial geometry metadata specific to objects in the former schema is not removed from the base table that holds the metadata.

No errors are raised, there are just rows in MDSYS.SDO_GEOM_METADATA_TABLE that reference the now non-existent schema.

Changes

This condition can be seen after a database upgrade from 12c to 19c.
