slow PURGE TABLE command

There is very slow performance in executing PURGE TABLE command. I'm wondering if it is an expected behavior for that command to execute.

Currently, we are using RAC (Exadata) with version 18.6. There has been a performance degradation with enq: IV Contention while executing DDL.

In case of executing PURGE TABLE, it took more than 3 ~ 4 hours to delete 13200 partitions occurring enq: IV Contention.
