Symptoms
- Foreground Session is blocked by LGWR, waiting for "log file sync".
- LGWR is blocked by DBW0, waiting for "enq: CF - contention".
- DBW0 is ON CPU, manipulating the datafile which is being resized by DDL command.
- Parameter archive_lag_target is set to a non-zero value.
Changes
Specify archive_lag_target to a non-zero value.
