Symptoms

Invocation of DBMS_AQ.DEQUEUE() on a Sharded queue fails with the following error:

ORA-24205: feature Next Message not supported for sharded queues
// *Cause: An attempt was made to use a feature that is not supported for
// sharded queues.
// *Action: Specify only supported features and try again.

 

Changes

Configured Advanced Queuing Sharded Queue.
