Symptoms

Running Segment Advisor on a large tablespace (30TB) fails with an ORA-02149:

Query output from dba_tab_partitions BEFORE and AFTER calling the Segment Advisor show that changes (partitions dropped, merged, etc) were occurring on table partitions in the large tablespace during the 10+ hours the Segment Advisor was running.
