Stopping A Multi-Source Replication Channel Causes Other Channel IO Thread Error When Semisynchronous Replication Is Enabled (Doc ID 2882333.1)

Symptoms

Semi-synchronous replication is enabled on multi-source replication channels. When stopping a replication channel, other channel(s) fail with its replication IO thread error.

In the output of SHOW REPLICA STATUS statement, the replication IO thread error on the failed channel is similar to the following:

 Enable semi-synchronous replication while using multi-source replication.
