There are many ways to use LDAP Authentication with MySQL, but the server side plugin(s) are only one component of a successful implementation.

Each specific environment is different and it is important that detailed knowledge, not only of the LDAP server's configuration and schema, but also the explicit requirement the customer has for implementing LDAP is known and understood.
