High CPU usage On Endpoint Server During Agent Install/Update/Upgrade Process (Doc ID 2888573.1)

Symptoms

High CPU utilization is seen when the following events occur

i) Agent Installed

ii) Agent Upgraded

iii) HA pairing

 

It observed that when send update signal is triggered, there is a CPU spike that goes up to 70% of the available core on the server. Update signal is sent to upgrade an agent

Changes

 Either fresh AV agent install or upgrade of existing agent
