Symptoms

• Rman Not releasing Channel after it completes backup and is  stuck at release channel.
• Backup Completes Fast but the Release channel Hangs or take couple of hours to come back to Rman prompt
• Even Rule based Optimizer Hint doesn't help.
• Dictionary stats have been Gather.
• Backup are taken to Tape.
