For the purposes of this document, the following fictitious environment is used as an example
to describe the procedure:
Directory = /home/oracle and all subdirectories
You are trying to rename a datafile, but oracle is not able to recognize the file, even though it is physically present in the mentioned location.
During this operation, oracle would look/read the datafile in the new location/name provided.
So, when "renaming the file", the "new file" should be present.
