Purpose
CPU_Count consideration for Oracle Parameter setting when using Hyper-Threading Technology. The number of CPU's reported by OS is twice the number of physical CPU's in the system when running Oracle on Intel's Hyper-Threading Technology platforms. So, there can be confusion while considering CPU_count.
Scope
