Purpose

After following, BDA X7-2/X8-2 Server Can Not Boot into the OS - From Rescue Mode, efibootmgr is missing "Oracle Big Data Appliance 4" Entry (Doc ID 2905574.1), the steps here can be followed to further troubleshoot if the root cause of the missing entry and inability to boot into the OS normally is a faulty disk controller.

The example here is based on BDA 7-2/OL6.
