For the purposes of this document, the following fictitious environment is used as an example to describe the procedure:
In this example we are assuming there is Primary database , Standby database and new CLONE database.
Source Database CDB : SOURCE_CDB
Destination Database CDB :DEST_CDB
Pluggable database for clone : SOURCE_PDB
Pluggable database name in destination CDB : NEW_PDB
Temporary Tablespace name for Source PDB : TEMP_TABLESPACE
While RMAN duplicate of PDB, RMAN job fails in between with core dumped message :
