Symptoms

Rman duplicate statement fails during the process of duplication

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-03002: failure of Duplicate Db command at 11/27/2022 02:10:26
RMAN-05501: aborting duplication of target database
RMAN-04006: error from auxiliary database: ORA-28000: The account is locked.

 The Status of sys account is "LOCKED (TIMED)" on auxiliary database

Changes

 Refresh the database using RMAN duplicate
