How Can We Disable Direct Path Reads With A Parallel Query (Doc ID 2919732.1)

Goal

We have an unusual app that reads data as of the database is not RDBMS and we have a very large SGA. We want to take advantage of large the SGA instead of using direct path reads for the app parallel SQLs as disk IO is much slower and performance testing is in progress especially since "event 10949" only disables direct path reads for serial execution.
