NID-00600 When Changing The DBID Using NID Utility (Doc ID 292327.1)

Symptoms

While running NID utility to change DBID of the DB the following error appears:

DBNEWID: Release 9.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
Copyright (c) 1995, 2002, Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
Connected to database TEST (DBID=147791262)
Control Files in database:
/oracle1/TEST/cntrlTEST0.con
/oracle2/TEST/cntrlTEST2.con
NID-00600: Internal Error - [17] [1] [0] [0]
Change of database ID failed during validation - database is intact.
DBNEWID - Completed with validation errors.

Changes

In the database there are a few datafiles 'offline dropped'. So we can see these files in RECOVER status from v$datafile.
