How to disable a materialized view refresh over a database link
The remote site (where the source tables are) is database "A" and the materialized views are on database "B".
The materialized views are created and refreshed over a database link. The two databases have different set of DBAs and the DBAs only have access to one database only.
Database "A" DBAs do not have access to the MView site database.
The mviews are scheduled to refresh automatically at midnight.
How do you prevent users on Mview site from running mview refreshes during the day? .
Locking and or Revoking create session on the account used to refresh the mview, does not prevent the refresh from working.
