Symptoms
datapatch execution, either manually or when it run as part of DBCA execution, hangs indefinitely and not creating catcon logs.
sqlpatch_invocation.log shows it connect to database and then there is no progress.:
Log file for this invocation: $ORACLE_BASE/cfgtoollogs/sqlpatch/sqlpatch_NNNN_<timestamp>/sqlpatch_invocation.log

Gathering database info...
DBCA log shows it hangs at:
