GoldenGate For SQL Server Connectivity Error (Doc ID 2940485.1)

Goal

We are trying to setup credentials for SQL Server on Oracle GoldenGate Marketplace Microservice for Non-Oracle 21.3. We have ODBC drivers installed on the OCI VM Linux and have configured the odbc.ini file. When we enter the details on OGG admin server credential page and hit the "connect to database" button we are getting the following error

"OGG-08110

Login failed. Database operation failed: Couldn't connect to sqlserver. ODBC error: SQLSTATE 08001 native database error -1. [unixODBC][Microsoft][ODBC Driver 18 for SQL Server]SSL Provider: [error:1416F086:SSL routines:tls_process_server_certificate:certificate verify failed:self signed certificate]Failed to open data source sqlserver for user"
