Symptoms

During the Oracle 19c installation. In the option where "set Up Software Only" is indicated, it generates a message indicating that an invalid entry has been detected in the central inventory corresponding to Oracle home as provided below .

 INS-35950 Installer has detected an invalid entry in the central inventory corresponding to oracle home
