For the purposes of this document, the following fictitious environment is used as an example to describe the procedure:

Primary database: PROD
Standby database: PROD_dg

Data Guard configuration details :
---------------------------------------

PROD having physical standby with DG broker and Oracle restart configured with Enterprise manager. (non RAC)

PROBLEM
----------

Data Guard Broker show configuration failing with ORA-16664 , ORA-12154 and ORA-16883 after changing the Data guard network to second NETWORK.

OBSERVATION
------------

1. tnsping and SQLPLUS connection from primary to standby and vice versa working fine with the respective dgconnectidentifier.

2. DGMGRL>show configuration from PROD takes time and failing with ORA-16664.
