Symptoms
After upgrading to 19.16 where new Oracle SYS.PMO_DEFERRED_GIDX_MAINT_JOB Oracle built-in job runs longer, for more than 24 hours, using default setting CLEANUP_ORPHANS, when doing maintenance operations for global indexes in many partitioned tables. Many of the PX slaves processes were waiting for 'PX Deq: Index Merge Reply' wait event.
