BDA 5.2 Expansion with CA Signed Certificates Fails in Step 7 InstallHadoop, Cloudera Agents Will Not Start (Doc ID 2980248.1)

Symptoms

BDA 5.2 expansion with CA signed certificates fails in Step 7 InstallHadoop, due to the cloudera agents being unable to start.

The error looks like:

1. This indicates that the cloudera scm agents on the cluster hosts will not start.

2. Checking /opt/cloudera/security indicates that the CA signed certificates have been overwritten on all cluster hosts.

 Stop any hive or hdfs replication jobs until the expansion completes.
 Confirm settings in Cloudera Manager (CM)
 Confirm /etc/cloudera-scm-agent/config.ini is intact
 Restore the CA signed certificates on the cluster hosts
 Set up /opt/cloudera/security on the host(s) being expanded into the cluster
 Update /opt/oracle/bda/mammoth-5.2.0/ansible/bdaplaybook/templates/hadoop/enablecmhttps.j2 on the Mammoth node
 Update /opt/oracle/bda/mammoth-5.2.0/ansible/bdaplaybook/templates/hadoop/enablehuehttps.j2 on the Mammoth node
 Resume expansion
