Symptoms

Executing a openquery in linked server using Oracle OLEDB Provider from Oracle client 19c and 21c with a default fetch size 100, ends up with the error shown below and the SQL Server gets disconnected.

The openquery used is as below -

Same query works fine when fetch size=5000.

Changes

Upgraded Oracle client from 19.13 to higher version.
