Unable to Modify "MySQL Server Has Been Restarted" Advisor Schedule (Doc ID 2988728.1)

Last updated on JUNE 11, 2024

Applies to:

MySQL Enterprise Monitor - Version 8.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Changing the default value for an advisor (Schedule Type Fixed Rate or Fixed Delay), the message "Advisor enabled successfully" is seen while saving, but the changes aren't saved.

Changing the daily scheduler type, it is possible to change either the hour or the minutes, but not both, and when saving the message "There was an unexpected error processing the form.label.schedule field: null. (U0346)" is returned.

In pop ups for entering schedule data some fields appear initially, but they quickly disappear once values are modified. When this happens it is not possible to see what the values were modified to anymore, which doesn't make a lot of difference as the modified value(s) aren't saved anyway, just mentioning it as it is odd behaviour.
