DATAPUMP IMPORT IGNORES EXCLUDE OPTION FOR TABLE_DATA (Doc ID 2994732.1)

Symptoms

As a result of the execution, impdp with exclude=TABLE_DATA:"IN ('<partition_name>')" option is ignored and all data is inserted.

1. Create impdp pfile.

- test.par

DIRECTORY=mig
DUMPFILE=test.dmp
LOGFILE=test_imp.log
CLUSTER=N
TABLES=TEST.TEST
exclude=TABLE_DATA:"IN ('P_200804')" -->> !! exclude=TABLE_DATA:"IN ('<partition_name>')" option

2. Run impdp.

$ impdp '"sys/xxx as sysdba"' parfile=/xxxxx/user/test.par


Import: Release 19.0.0.0.0 - Production on Fri Jun 24 05:36:16 2022
Version 19.14.0.0.0
