Post Upgrade to 21c, Pre-compilation of Pro*C Code May Fail When GCC Specific Macros Are Used (Doc ID 3011100.1)

Symptoms

Post Upgrade to 21c, usage of GCC specific macros(e.g. "__GNUC__") may cause pre-compilation error PCC-S-02201 for existing Pro*C code that works fine with 19c. The issue can be demonstrated
using the sample code below

where the custom header foo.h includes another header bar.h that uses the GCC specific macro "__GNUC__".

Changes

 The database was upgraded from 19c to 21c or it's a newly installed 21c DB Home using which the Pro*C code is pre-compiled.
