Symptoms
Oracle RAC databases use and rely on (to a certain degree) real time (RT) processes in the stack. It has been observed in different platforms that the certain processes with high priority processes not actually running in high priority. This effects Oracle cache fusion performance, instance crashes etc.
Following underscore parameter values are already present in the RAC database.
_high_priority_processes LMS*|LM1*|LM2*|LM3*|LM4*|LM5*| LM6*|LM7*|LM8*|LM9*|LM*|LCK0|CKPT|DBRM|RMS0|LGWR|CR*|RS0*|RS1*|RS2* TRUE
_highest_priority_processes VKTM|LG*|LMS* FALSE
