Result Cached PL/SQL Function Using DBLink Returns Incorrect Results (Doc ID 3017480.1)

Getting incorrect values from result cache if queries using dblinks to fetch results from Remote DB when DBlinks are down or remote db is down.

Below is the simple function using result cache throwing wrong boolean value when trying to fetch value from remote DB which is down:

Now if remote DB up and executing the same function rc_test will always giving same result False from result cache even though query result is true. This behavior happening because of published stuck entry which is not accessing DB_Link and having result as False.
