Goal

Per documentation, Oracle RAC and Oracle Automatic Storage Management (Oracle ASM) instances use multiple cluster interconnect interface addresses to ensure highly available, load-balanced interface communication between nodes. The goal of this note is to clarify what is load-balanced when using redundant cluster interconnects.
