Symptoms

IAS executes slower compared to only the select part of the IAS. IAS execution plan shows NL execution as a result of predicate pushdown into view while the select shows hash join without predicate push-down into view.

 

Changes

Issue can be encountered starting with 18c version so any upgrade to this version and higher can lead to encountering this issue.
